Myrtle Beach Amusement Parks and Rides

Family Kingdom is one of the best amusement parks on the East Coast. With a historical carousel and a state of the art log flume, it will be hard to decide what to do first. Their newest attraction is the 110-foot Freefall and it is also home to the Swamp Fox a Myrtle Beach experience not to be missed.

Across the street from the amusement park is the Family Kingdom water park, South Carolina's only ocean front water park. It is a great place to relax or slide, whichever fit's the bill.

There are numerous water parks and go cart tracks all along the Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach SC.

The newest attraction coming to Myrtle Beach in May of 2008 is the new Hard Rock Theme Park. This is the first Hard Rock Theme park and will feature a rock in roller coaster that only the bravest souls will dare. The Hard Rock Theme Park Backstage Tour is already open to the public free of charge and will give you an idea of what to expect from this new and exciting attraction.

The Hard Rock Theme park will not only offer rides and amusements. It will host several great concerts annually featuring well-known artists and popular area musicians.

The food and memorabilia that is a part of the Hard Rock Cafe will be at the Hard Rock Theme Park on an even grander scale.

Another new and exiting attraction can be found at Broadway at the Beach is the new Pavilion Nostalgia Park. Many of the much loved and most popular rides from the Pavilion are there now. Not only have the rides been transported to their new home much of the Pavilion atmosphere has as well. Snacks of cotton candy and funnel cakes are available and your favorite carnival games.
